Training students for Asia Math Engineering Challenge in Singapore

In the last two weeks, Dewey International School – American Curriculum has provided orientation to students in preparation for the upcoming AMEC event to be held in Singapore in early June 2018. The training focused on technical aspects related to electricity, micro controllers and software programing. It is noted that AMEC is a competition event on science and engineering held annually in Singapore to encourage young scientists to conduct research on engineering. Students from different nations in Asia, Europe, and America will participate in the event to compete as well as to learn from one another. In this school year, there are about twenty students from Dewey International School prepared to join the event; and everyone is confident that they will make their day in Singapore, hoping to bring prestige and honor back to their school and to Cambodia.
